Matthew Lee Roberts was born on December 17, 1923 in Canadian, Texas to Walter M. and May N. (Felder) Roberts. He passed from this life Saturday, January, 15, 2011 at the age of eighty-seven. He was a WWII Veteran receiving two Purple Hearts and one Bronze Star. He was also a member of the Irving Baptist Church.

He is preceded in death by his wife - Betty Ann (Cullar) Roberts, parents, three sisters, and three brothers.

Memorial Service will be held at the Irving Baptist Church January 23, 2011, at 2:00PM.
