Mary Francis Proctor
Mary Francis Proctor was born in Terral, Oklahoma on September 4, 1925 to Clyde and Myrtle Rolling Beldin She passed from this life Thursday, April 19, 2012 at the Westbrook Nursing Home in Waurika at the age of 86.
Mary attended school at Fleetwood, Terral and Waurika. She graduated from Terral in 1944. She and Z. L. Tanner were married in Henrietta, Texas on June 5, 1948. He preceded her in death on September 2, 1964. She married Joe Proctor on March 7, 1970 in Waurika. He preceded her in death on February 9, 1981. She worked as a seamstress for Haggar Slacks, Inc. She enjoyed working in her yard, sewing, and crocheting. She is survived by her stepdaughter - Myrtle Phelps of Bartlesville, OK, Granddaughter - Kayla King, and two great grandchildren. She is also survived by special friends - Kevin Chumley, Terri Sheffield, Angela Bartley and her cat - Fancy.
She was preceded by her son - Samuel Kail Tanner, her parents and one sister - Fayola Butler.
Graveside service will be Sunday, April 22, 2012 at 2:00PM at the Terral Cemetery under the direction of Dudley Funeral Home of Waurika. Visitation will be from 10AM-6PM Saturday at the funeral home in Waurika.
