Mary Alice Morris was born Mary 18, 1941, in Ardmore, Oklahoma, to Fitzghu and Orpha Whitfield Morris, and passed from this life Thursday, March 27, 2003, at her home in Comanche, Oklahoma, at the age of sixty-two.

Mary and Scotty John Standridge were united in marriage December 24, 1957, in Duncan, Oklahoma. He preceded her in death May 24, 1974. She married Don Griffith in September of 1975, in Wichita Falls, Texas. Mary was a homemaker.

Survivors include: her husband, Don, of the home in Comanche, OK; two sons - David Standridge and John Standridge; one daughter - Susan Mayes; four step-sons - Ron Griffith, Kent Griffith, Allen Griffith, and Roger Griffith; one step-daughter - Carolyn Simmons; two sisters - Peggy Stokes and Vera Uyeyama; twenty-three grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, one step-daughter, Gean Ann Barber, one step-son, Rick Griffith, three brothers, Franklin, Robert, and George Morris, and one sister, Mildred Kennedy.

Funeral services were held at 11:00 AM, Saturday, March 29, 2003, at First Baptist Church in Comanche with Gary Smith officiating. Burial was in the Loco Cemetery under the direction of Dudley Funeral Home of Comanche.
