Marie Jones was born June 21, 1926 in Waurika, Oklahoma to James Martin and Stora Van Hoosier Way. She passed from this life Friday, October 31, 2008 in Las Vegas, Nevada at the age of eighty-two.  She was a graduate of Waurika School.

She is survived by her nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents - James and Stora Way, brothers and sisters - Granville way, Andy Way, Jack Way, Jerry Way, Dollie Hausman, Mary Jane Jumper, Mammie Dillard, and Andrew Dillard.

Graveside services will be at the 11:00 AM, Thursday, November 6, 2008, at the Waurika Cemetery with Rev. Curtis Plant officiating. Visitation will be Thursday from 9:00 to 10:30 AM.
