Margie Marie Allen passed from this life Friday, September 26, 2003, in the Jefferson County Hospital, at the age of ninety-six. She was born June 14, 1907, to Mrs. and Mrs. Graves in Ryan, Oklahoma. She and A.J. were united in marriage in 1925 in Henrietta, Texas. Mrs. Allen was a homemaker.

Survivors include: one son - Arman Allen of Lone Grove, OK; three daughters - Frances Menasco of Albany, TX, Norma Dean Allen of New Iberia, LA, and Margie Pruitt of Ft Worth, TX; several grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; and several great-great-grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, three children - Gene Allen, Terry Don Allen, and Diane Thompson, and three brothers.

Funeral services for Mrs. Allen were at 2:00 PM, Sunday, September 28, 2003, at the Dudley Funeral Home Chapel in Ryan with Bro. Clarence Mize officiating. Burial was in the Ryan Cemetery under the direction of Dudley Funeral Home of Ryan.
