Margarito Reyes Torrez
Margarito Reyes Torrez was born June 10, 1929 in Fredericksburg, Texas to Jesus Lopez and Nina Reyes Torrez. He passed from this life Thursday, April 19, 2012 in Wichita Falls, Texas at the age of 82.
Margarito was a farmer and rancher. He also worked as a sheep sheerer and at the cotton gin. He and Feliz Rios were married in Grandview, Texas on December 12, 1951.
He is survived by his wife of 60 years - Feliz Torrez, his children - Joe Torrez, Juanita Aldape, Margarito Torrez, Jr., Frankie Torrez, Maria Seay, Robert Torrez, Michael Torrez, Dolores Vasquez, and Jessica Torrez - Wheat, his siblings - Frank, Raymond, Florencia, Dominga, and Jesse, 46 grandchildren and 68 great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, son - Jesse Torrez, and siblings - Tony, Mona, and Andy.
Funeral service will be at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Ryan Monday, April 23, 2012 at 10:00AM. Burial will be in the Ryan Cemetery under the direction of Dudley Funeral Home in Ryan. Visitation will be Saturday, April 21 from 10AM-7PM and Sunday from 1-6PM with a Rosary beginning at 5PM at the funeral home in Ryan.
