Margaret Helen Gaines

Margaret Helen was born November 5, 1948 in Hereford, Texas. She passed from this life Sunday, January 1, 2012 in Los Angeles, California. Margaret and Mike Gaines were married September 22, 1972 in Wichita Falls, Texas. She worked Insurance Industry for many years. She was a homemaker and enjoyed taking part in community projects. She was a member of the GFWC Sorosis Club and the First United Methodist Church in Waurika. Her favorite hobby was cooking with a close second being fishing. She enjoyed her family and especially being "grammy" to her grandchildren.

She is survived by her husband Mike Gaines, her children - Toby Ross and husband Jeff, Katy Knapp and husband Chris, Kim Berry and husband Tim, grandchildren - Colton and Ryder Ross, Zack and Tyler Knapp, Ian and Colin Berry, siblings - Linda Coleman, Sue Duckworth and husband Jerry, George Weaver Jr. and wife Donna.

Memorial service for Margaret will be Saturday, January 14, 2012 at 1:00PM at the First United Methodist Church in Waurika with Rev. Karen Slater officiating. Family Visitation will be Friday, January 13, 2012 from 5:30-7PM at Dudley Funeral Home in Waurika.
