Margaret Mary Dalton, fifty-eight, of Ryan, Oklahoma, passed away Monday, June 23, 2008, in the Nocona, Texas, Hospital. Margaret was born January 27, 1950, in Ryan to Troy Wendell Poage and Margaret Truxton Reed Poage. She was a life-long resident of the Ryan area and a member of the Ryan Church of Christ. Margaret married Jerry Dalton May 7, 1987, in Ryan. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother who loved to watch children play and help with the elderly. She also loved to read and write poems.

She is preceded in death by her parents.

Survivors include: her husband Jerry Dalton of the home in Ryan, OK; four sons - Richard Allen Kimbro and his wife Jamie, Randy Loyd Kimbro and his wife Tricia, Timmy Duane Kimbro and his wife Trina, and Jeremy Glen Dalton, all of Ryan, OK; one daughter Terri Renae and her husband Charles Sheffield of Ryan, OK; one step-son Brian Keith Dalton and his wife Crystal of Ryan, OK; two step-daughters - Tiney and her husband Jason Spruill of Haslet, TX, and Jerrida Gayle and her husband Keith Lowrey of Waco, TX; four brothers - T. A. Poage of Waurika, OK, Tommy Poage of Duncan, OK, Timmy Poage of Ryan, OK, and Shawn Poage of Wilson, OK; one sister Pat Berry of Upper Marlboro, MD; and fourteen grandchildren.

Funeral services for Mrs. Dalton will be 10:00 AM, Thursday, June 26, 2008, at the Ryan Church of Christ, with Minister Rodger Schwenn and Minister David Wingfield officiating. Burial will follow in the Ryan Cemetery under the direction of Dudley Funeral Home of Ryan.

Psalm 116:15 says "Precious in the sight of the Lord is the death of his saints".
