Marcella Eugenia Garcia
Marcella Eugenia "Sanchez" Garcia, 68, passed from this life March 21, 2015, at the Westbrook Nursing Home in Waurika, Oklahoma. She was born January 16, 1947, in Sinton, Texas, to Juan and Maria "Ramirez" Sanchez.
"Marcy" loved to quilt, read, work crossword puzzles and watch movies. When she was younger she loved to dance. She was a homemaker.
She was preceded in death by her parents, one son Lupe Sanchez, one sister Antonia Sanchez, one brother Santos Sanchez, and her cousin Josie Black.
Survivors include: her son Robert Cantú, brothers Marcos Sanchez, John Sanchez, and Domingo Sanchez; three grandchildren; her special aunt and uncle José and Emelia Sanchez, cousins Joe Sanchez, Jr. and his wife Christy, Frances and her husband Jake Vines, Sandy Leal, and Roger Black; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM, Wednesday, March 25, 2015, at the Dudley Funeral Home Chapel in Waurika with Bro. Mike Bates officiating. Burial will follow in the Addington Cemetery in Addington, Oklahoma. Visitation will be at the Dudley Funeral Home from Noon to 6:00 PM Tuesday with a Rosary service from 6:00 to 8:00 PM. Pallbearers will be Joe Sanchez, Roger Black, Steve Vines, Jimmy Vines, Frances Vines, and Johnny Salazar. The family would like to express their appreciation to the Westbrook Nursing Home for their kindness and thoughtfulness to Marcy.
