Manara Louise Graham Shaw

Manara Louise Graham Shaw was born in September 25, 1918, in Gypsy Camp, Oklahoma, to Robert Oliver and Margaret Graham. She passed from this life Saturday, July 9, 2005, at her home in Comanche, Oklahoma, at the age of eighty-six. She worked for many years at Haggar Apparel in Temple, Oklahoma. She was a homemaker and a member of the First Baptist Church in Comanche. She and W.W. Pete Shaw were married November 3, 1937, east of Comanche. He preceded her in death March 10, 1979.

Survivors include: one son - Jim and his wife Martha Shaw of Comanche, OK; four grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; and a special friend - Woodrow Williams.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, three sons - Ronnie, Johnnie, and Ricky Shaw; two daughters - Margaret and Wilma Louise Shaw; three brothers - Tommy, Leon, and Karl Graham; and two sisters - Goldie Bacon and Myrtle Bivins.

Graveside services for Mrs. Shaw will be at 10:00 AM, Wednesday, July 13, 2005, at Fairlawn Cemetery in Comanche, Oklahoma, with Don Williams officiating. Burial will be under the direction of Dudley Funeral Home of Comanche. Visitation will be Tuesday, July 12, from 1:00 to 8:00 PM. The family will receive visitors from 7:00 PM to 8:00 PM.
