Mabel Marie Hollaway passed from this life Wednesday, November 5, 2003, at Duncan Regional Hospital at the age of seventy-nine. She was born March 23, 1924, to Joseph and Fannie Thompson in Wilson, Oklahoma. She and James were united in marriage on May 10, 1953, in Wilson, Oklahoma. Mrs. Hollaway was a member of the Waurika Church of Christ.

Survivors include: one son - Rory Hollaway of Fresno, CA; three daughters - D.J. James of Muskogee, OK, Minia Hollaway of Waurika, OK, and Teresa Trail of Winthrop, AR; four grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.

Funeral services for Mrs. Hollaway were at 2:00 PM, Friday, November 7, 2003, at the Dudley Funeral Home Chapel in Waurika with Noel Curington officiating. Burial was in the Waurika cemetery under the direction of Dudley Funeral Home of Waurika.
