Lyndall Virgil Duncan was born March 5, 1931 in Terral, Oklahoma to Lee Liberty and Lillie May Henderson Duncan. He passed from this life on Sunday, August 7, 2011 in Waurika surrounded by his family at the age of 80. He served his country in the United States Army. He and Rosa Williams Duncan were married in September 15, 1951 in Henrietta, Texas.

He a was a member of the Church of Faith and Hope in Waurika. He is survived by his son –Virgil Duncan and wife Laronda of Waurika, daughter – Jeannie Bishop of Comanche, mother of his children – Rosa Duncan, two grandchildren and four great grandchildren, five sisters- Irene Suttles of Waurika, Dovie Pruitt of Wichita Falls, Texas, Janie Tiffie of El Reno, Oklahoma, Bernice Cunic of Chino, California, and Minnie Stewart of Waurika, Oklahoma.

He was preceded in death by five brothers, two sisters, one daughter, and one grandchild.

Memorial service will be Wednesday, August 10, 2011 at 11:00AM at the Church of Faith and Hope in Waurika with Rev. Lynn Plant officiating. Burial was in Terral Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the Church of Faith and Hope.
