Luther Lavoice Parker died Thursday, October 27, 2005, in the Duncan Regional Hospital at the age of seventy-five. L.L. was born on December 3, 1929, in Ringling , Oklahoma, to Ada and Lon Parker. He was a self-employed bricklayer. L.L. married Rachel Menton in Durant, Oklahoma, who preceded him in death in 1977. He married Mona Williams, who also preceded him in death.

Survivors include: one son - Luther Bubba Parker, Jr. and his wife Shelley of Wilson, OK; four daughters - Dollie Hass of Mesquite, TX, Karen Hartley of Ennis, TX, Carmelita Jordan of Ardmore, OK, and Celesta and her husband Tim Higgenbotham of Gordonsville, TN; fifteen grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.

L.L. was preceded in death by his parents, Rachel, Mona, and one brother, Troy Parker.

Graveside services for Mr. Parker will be at 2:00 PM, Sunday, October 30, 2005, at the Tage Cemetery, north of Bowie, Texas under the direction of Dudley Funeral Home of Comanche, Oklahoma.
