Loyd Ray Williams was born February 26, 1932, in Claypool, Oklahoma, to Lou Ramsey and Gertie Pink Williams. He passed from this life Sunday, November 6, 2005, at the age of seventy-three. Loyd and Nadine Howard were married in Waurika, Oklahoma May 29, 1961. He worked in the oil fields and as a farmhand for many years.

Survivors include: his wife, Nadine, of the home in Burneyville, OK; three sons - Lowell Ray Williams of Comanche, OK, Donald Lee Williams of Burneyville, OK, and Patrick Allen Williams of Ardmore, OK; one daughter - Debra Sue Ramon of Burneyville, OK; one brother - Jewell Williams of Ryan, OK; and three sisters - Janice Hunter of Electra, TX, Faye Etheridge of Waurika, OK, and Maye Ward of Ryan, OK.

He was preceded in death by his parents, a son, Danny Jo, two sisters, Billie and Barbara, two brothers, Buster and Steve, and one great-grandchild.

Funeral services for Mr. Williams were at 2:00 PM, Wednesday, November 9, 2005, at the Assembly of God Church in Ryan, Oklahoma, with Rev. Paul Ratliff officiating. Burial was in the Ryan Cemetery under the direction of Dudley Funeral Home of Ryan.
