Louise James
Louise James was born October 18, 1934 in Hastings, Oklahoma to Mary McClarty and William Marcus James Jr. She passed from this life Thursday, May 15, 2014 in Waurika at the age of 79.
Louise was a LPN working for Waurika Hospital, Dr. Hegg, and Jefferson County Hospital. She was a member of the United Methodist Church in Waurika. She enjoyed walking and once she moved to the nursing home she continued her walking in the hallways.
She is survived by her family - Larry and Deborah James, Davra James, Gary James, Kelsey James, Jeffery James, Gail Tombs, Dawn Tombs, Michael Tombs, Connie and Johnny Cobb, Larry James Cobb, Matthew Cobb, Wesley Cobb, and Hailey Cobb, Lori and Robert Lee Hedge, half sister Gloria Mooney and sister in law Christine James and many other family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents and siblings - Katherine Romanoski and A.L. James.
Funeral service for Miss James will be Monday, May 19, 2014 at 11:00AM at the United Methodist Church in Waurika with Rev. Karen Slater officiating. Burial will be in the Hastings Cemetery under the direction of Dudley Funeral Home in Waurika. Visitation will be Saturday from 1-8PM and Sunday from 1-5PM. Memorials may be made to the United Methodist Church.
