Nadine Louise (Hight) Clark
Nadine Louise Hight Clark Arlington, Texas–Nadine Louise Hight Clark passed peacefully into the presence of the Lord on Tuesday evening, February 26, 2019, at the age of 100 years.
Louise was born at Hastings, Oklahoma, on December 21, 1918. She was the first of four children born to Everett and Leila Hight.
She attended grade school at Lone Star and graduated from Hastings High School in 1936.
On February 1, 1937, she married J.B. Clark in Lawton, Oklahoma. They made their home east of Hastings on a farm and lived there all of their married life. Louise was a homemaker. She was a longtime member of the Waurika Church of Christ, being baptized at age 14. She was a member of Ladies Bible Class.
Louise did volunteer work for the Hastings Cemetery, keeping books and records, and selling lots, and also cooking for Hastings Senior Citizens. Her hobby was sewing, and making pretty quilts for all her family.
Her husband and all three of her brothers, her parents, and a grandson, preceded her in death.
She is survived by her daughter Sheila Clark Cowley and her husband Fred, her son James Benton Clark III and his wife Millie, her grandchildren Clark Cowley, Ryan Cowley and his wife Christina, Megan Clark Forsberg and her husband Cody, Jon-Michael Clark and his wife Allison, and great-grandchildren David Cowley, Benjamin Cowley, Margaret Cowley, Andrew Cowley, Addison Forsberg, Chloe Forsberg, Madelynn Forsberg, Jude Clark, and Jensen Clark.
Funeral Service 1:00 p.m., Saturday, March 2, 2019, Waurika Church of Christ, with burial following at Hastings Cemetery.
