On November 27, 2002, our hearts were broken when God called for Loretta Jean Rice. She was a woman that gave her family and friends unconditional love. She had the heart of a lion, the soul of an angel, and the patience of a saint. We love her, and will miss her desperately. Our memories of her will be the gifts she will continue to give us. Those who had the honor of spending time with her, crying and laughing with her, understand what a special gift she was, and we are so much better for knowing her. She was our wife, mother, mother-in-law, grandmother, and sister, but most of all, she was our friend.
