Loretta Jewel Blevins

Loretta Jewel Blevins, age 73, a resident of Terral, OK passed away on Saturday, April 24, 2021 in Wichita Falls, TX. A funeral service will be held on thursday, April 29th at 2:00 p.m. at Terral First Baptist Church, with Ron Branhan officiating, under the direction of Terral Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Terral Cemetery. Viewing will be Wednesday 12:00-7:00, with the family receiving guests from 5:00-7:00; and Thursday 10:00 until service time.

She was born December 15, 1947 in Bowie, TX to Cletus A. and Mattie J. (Romines) Langford. She and Charles Blevins were united in marriage on July 9, 1965 in Henrietta, TX. She served as the First Deputy Clerk at the Jefferson County Tax Assessor Office. Loretta was a lifelong member of the Terral Church Of Christ. She loved to garden, crochet, and sew; but her greatest joy came from taking care of her grandchildren.

Survivors include her husband Charles, of the home; one son Charles Ray Blevins Jr. and wife Linda, Terral, OK; one daughter, Melissa “Missy” Keck and husband Brad, Nocona, TX; a sister, Lanette Weatherly, Terral, OK; seven grandchildren: Clay, Sarah, Ki, Cody, Hally, Kourtney, and Karlee; six great-grandchildren; and other family members and friends.

Serving as pallbearers will be Ki Parker, Cody Taylor, Tyler Richards ,Clay Pearl, Ti Caughman, Derreck Bonilla, and John Bowser.
