Lonnie Franklin Bradford, fifty-five, of Ryan, Oklahoma, passed from this life Tuesday, July 6, 2004, in Nocona, Texas. He was born May 27, 1949, in Blackwell, Oklahoma to Oran and Delilah Bradford. Lonnie was owner/operator of the Rural Community Health Care Center in Ryan. He served his country in Viet Nam in the Marines. He was a member of the Harley Owners Group and of Friends Church in Arkansas City, KS.

Survivors include: his mother, Delilah Bradford of Ryan; his fiancee, Valerie Ann Miller of Tulsa, OK; four daughters - Julie Skaggs of Blackwell, OK, Janelle Bellah of Edmond, OK, DeAnna Nowka of Weatherford, OK, and Dr. Rebecca Poage of Yukon, OK; one sister, Vicki Lyn Teeter of Dallas, TX, one nephew, Paul Palma of Olympia, WA; and four grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his father Oran Bradford and nephew Lonnie Marc Palma.

Funeral services for Mr. Bradford were at 1:00 PM, Friday, July 9, 2004, at Ryan United Methodist Church with Bob Waitman officiating. Burial was at 11:00 AM, Saturday, July 10, 2004, in the Tonkawa IOOF Cemetery under the direction of Dudley Funeral Home of Ryan. Memorial contributions may be made to Feed the Children.
