Lois Aline Walker, age 93, passed away Wednesday, October 17, 2001, at the Jefferson County Hospital in Waurika, Oklahoma. She resided at the Westbrook Care Center in Waurika.

Mrs. Walker was born October 22, 1907, to Richard and Nancy Britton in Pizarro, Texas.

Mrs. Walker was a retired telephone operator for Southwestern Bell. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Comanche and a member of the Rebekkas.

Survivors include: one stepson - Vernon Walker of San Antonio, TX; three nieces - Jackie Ruth Jones of Comanche, OK, Nancy Hopper of Lovington, NM, and Trudie Brown of Texas; one nephew - Richard Carl Britton of Comanche, OK; and many great nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, two brothers and two sisters.

Funeral services were Friday, October 19, 2001, at 10:00 AM at the First Baptist Church in Comanche with Gary Smith officiating. Burial was in Waurika Cemetery under the direction of Dudley Funeral Home of Comanche.
