Lloyd Wayne Denham

Lloyd Wayne Denham was born September 17, 1944 in Dallas, Texas to William Lloyd and Doris Eugene (Pollard) Denham. He passed from this life Thursday, January 26, 2012 at the Hospice of Wichita Falls with his family by his side. Lloyd Wayne Denham and Jannie Webster were married March 13, 1967 in Dallas, Texas.

Mr. Denham went to union trade school for 6 years. He worked for local 100 as a pipe fitter and plumber for 17 years. He and Jannie moved from East Texas to Ryan, Oklahoma in 1984 where they owned and operated Big Sky Cafe until 1999. His interests included cooking, history, animals, and family; especially his two grandsons whom he was very proud of. Mr. Denham was a fun-loving, patient, tender-hearted man who loved his family and friends and will be missed by all. Mr. Denham spent the previous twelve years raising his great-nephew Trevor Bettis and great-niece Roshanda Lewis who he loved as his own.

He was preceded in death by his parents Bill and Doris Denham of Dallas, Texas.

He is survived by his wife of 45 years - Jannie Denham of the home in Ryan, daughter - Gloria LaPrade and husband Ricky of Grand Celine, Texas, Grandsons - Ricky Jr and Kinney LaPrade of Grand Saline, Texas, brother -in -law Aaron Webster and wife Nita of Byers, Texas, sister-in-law Vicki Latimer and husband Phillip of Point, Texas, brother Billy Ray Denham of Phoeniz, Arizona, brother - Mickey Young of LaDonia, Texas and numerous nieces, nephews, family and friends.

Funeral service for Mr. Denham will be Saturday, January 28, 2012 at the First Baptist Church in Ryan at 1:00PM with James Keenum and Jon Curry officiating. Burial will be in the Ryan Cemetery under the direction of Dudley Funeral Home in Ryan. Visitation will be Friday from 3PM-8PM at Dudley Funeral Home in Ryan. (612 Washington) The family requests memorials be made to Hospice of Wichita Falls.
