Linda Kaylene Everett was born October 13, 1941, in Waurika, Oklahoma, to Loffie and Ima Marney Ball. Kaylene passed from this life Friday, May 7, 2004, in Carrollton, Texas. She was a homemaker and was a Baptist. She loved animals and was a best friend to many. She always put others first and will be truly missed by everyone who knew and loved her. She and Bill Everett were married May 27, 1982, in Waurika, Oklahoma.

Survivors include: her husband, Bill Everett, of the home in Carrollton, TX; one son, Stephen Paul Adkins, of Wichita Falls, TX; one daughther, Shelley Ann Adkins of Wichita Falls, TX; five step-children - Billy Everett, Jimmy Everett, and Mike Everett, all of Wichita Falls, TX, Linda Espinosa of Colorado Springs, CO, and Loretta Barnes of Austin, TX; sixteen grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.

Graveside services for Mrs. Everett were at 11:00 AM, Monday, May 10, 2004, at the Waurika Cemetery under the direction of Dudley Funeral Home of Waurika, Oklahoma. Memorial donations may be made to the Wichita Falls Humane Society.
