Lillie Mae Fulton was born February 20, 1912, in Granbury, Texas, to William Thomas and Mary Emma Strange. Mrs. Fulton passed from this life Sunday, September 1, 2002, in the Jefferson County Hospital at the age of ninety. Mrs. Fulton married Moody Percy Fulton January 7, 1937. He preceded her in death September 18, 1989. They made their home in the Claypool community until they moved to Waurika in 1983. She was a long-time member of the First Baptist Church and also belonged to the Claypool Ladies' Club and was a Pink Lady at the Jefferson County Hospital.
Survivors include: one son-in-law, Garry Lyons of Claypool, OK; five granddaughters; nine great-grandchildren; and one great-great grandchild.
Mrs. Fulton is preceded in death by: her parents; her husband; one son - Thomas Garry Fulton (February 26, 1982); one daughter - Jacqueline Sue Lyons (March 11, 2001); five brothers; and one sister.
Funeral services were held for Mrs. Fulton at 1:00 PM, on Tuesday, September 3, 2002, at the First Baptist Church in Waurika with Tommy Billings officiating. Burial was in the Waurika Cemetery under the direction of Dudley Funeral Home of Waurika. Pallbearers were W.G. Strange, T.J. Strange, Doug Strange, Don Strange, Justin Barnes, and Brian Potts.
