Lewis Young Howell
Lewis Young Howell was born March 1, 1927 in Lawton, Oklahoma to Edith (Perry) Howell and Lewis Howell. He passed from this life on Saturday, May 13, 2017 at Jefferson County Hospital at the age of 90. He married Ella Maxine Cook on May 3, 1952 in Lawton, Oklahoma. They were married 64 years before she preceded him in death on January 10, 2017. He drove a fuel truck for Welch's Oil company and delivered fuel for over 40 years. He was a member of the Waurika Church of Christ and Texhoma Racers Hall of Fame.
He is survived by his daughter in law - Edwina Jo Isaacs, grandson - Chadd Howell and wife Marcey, great granddaughter - Riley Howell, sisters Dorothy Lee, and Joy Kingsley.
He was preceded in death by his son Dwayne Howell, his wife Ella "Maxine" Howell, his sister Lolas Bowden, and his brother Raymond "Ray" Howell.
