Lettie Jean Gonzales was born June 19, 1925, in Mead, Oklahoma, to Ernest and Gladys Redfern. Ms. Gonzales passed from this life Thursday, November 7, 2002, at her home in Waurika. She worked for many years preparing food for Bill's Fish House.

Survivors include: three daughters - Vickie McCall of Lawton, OK, Patricia Bailey of Meridian, OK, and Jeri Nell Mays of Waurika, OK; one son - James Allen Solomon of Waurika, OK; two sisters - Dorothy Washer and Betty Cooper; one brother - C.E. Redfern; eight grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

Memorial services were held for Ms. Redfern at 10:00 AM, Monday, November 11, 2002, at the Dudley Funeral Home Chapel under the direction of Dudley Funeral Home of Waurika.
