Leroy Gene Reger
Leroy Gene Reger was born August 7, 1932 in Madison, Indiana to Gilbert and Dorothy V. North Reger. He passed from this life Friday, May 18, 2012 at his home in Waurika at the age of 79.
Leroy and Georgia Ann Little were married November 5, 1955 in Indiana. She preceded him in death June 7, 2010 . Leroy was a member of the Waurika Church of Christ for over 30 years. He was very active in the community, serving as cilty councilman, member of the Rock Island Depot committee, member of the Masonic Lodge, and helping with the DOC proogram. Leroy enjoyed dancing, drinking coffee at Eck Drug, visiting the Nutrition Center, and driving the church bus. He retired from Daimler Chrysler after working for 30 years.
He is survived by his niece and nephew who cared for him for the last 12 years - Mary and Bruce Harvey, 1 sister of Indiana, and lots of friends and extended family.
Funeral service will be Tuesday, May 22, 2012 at 10:30AM at the Waurika Church of Christ with Noel Curington and Bob Harrison officiating. Burial will be in the Waurika Cemetery under the direction of Dudley Funeral Home in Waurika. Visitation will be Sunday from 1-5PM and Monday from 9AM-5PM. Memorials may be made to the Waurika Nutrition Center.
