Leon V. Smith
Leon V Smith, 60, of Ryan, Oklahoma, passed from this life June 14, 2017. He was born March 18, 1957, in Trenton, Michigan, to Elmer and Lila (Bower) Smith.
Leon was a heavy machine operator in the construction business. He was married to Debra Smith (Richardson) of 34 years and was a member of the Cross Brand Cowboy Church.
Leon was preceded in death by his parents, his daughter Jenny Hunt, and his brothers Larry, Clemet, and Wayne Smith.
Survivors include: his wife Debra, of the home in Ryan, OK; two sons—Adam Smith and his wife Rachel E., and Jason Smith and his wife Rachel L.; two daughters—Christiana and her husband Cody Rodriguez, and Alyssa Smith; brothers—Guy, Harvey, Roger, William, Gale, Clay, and Gary Smith; sisters—Margaret, Garnet, Valerie, Mary, Wendy and Cindy; grandchildren—Kaleb, Blake, Skylar, Alyssa, Haylee, Sierra, Samantha, , Joshua, Justin Frankum, Michael, William, Lilah, Regehr, Margaret Smith and Dorothy Rodriguez.
A memorial service for Leon was held at 1:00 PM, Monday, June 19, 2017, at the Cross Brand Cowboy Church in Waurika with Bob Waitman officiating.
