Lee Roy Lemons

Lee Roy Lemons was born December 26, 1939 in Ryan, Oklahoma to Ted and Stella McGahey Lemons. He passed from this life Wednesday, November 21, 2012 at his home in Hastings at the age of seventy-two.

He was a farmer and worked for the county driving a grater for many years. He was a member of the Irving Baptist Church. He and Lyda Marie Smith were married September 21, 1959 in Lubbock, Texas.

He is survived by his wife - Lyda of the home, children - Natha Malone and husband Jody, Brenda Moss and husband Kelly, Roy Lemons and wife Donna, and Shirley Younce and husband Johnny, siblings - Dee Roy Lemons, Alvis Lemons, Charlie Lemons, Billy Lemons and Shirley Benton, 10 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents and sister Jean.

Memorial service will be Saturday, November 24, 2012 at 1:00PM at Dudley Funeral Home Chapel in Waurika. Family requests memorials be made to the American Cancer Society.
