Lallie True Browning was born July 20, 1912 in Avery, Texas to Lewis and Carrie Etta Studdard Childress. She passed from this life Sunday, July 24, 2011 in Gregston Nursing Home at the age of 99. Lallie attended Terral school. She moved to Ryan in 1957. She married Ernest Browning December 10, 1967 in Durant, Oklahoma. He preceded her in death July 12, 1993. She was a homemaker and a member of the United Methodist Church in Ryan. She was president of the American Legion Auxillary for several years. She was preceded in death by her siblings - Lona Bond, Lillis Mitchell, Loda Wells, Oscar Childress and Burl Childress.

She is survived by - nieces and nephews.

Funeral service will be Wednesday, July 27, 2011 at 1:00PM at the United Methodist Church in Ryan with Rev. Debbie Kerr officiating. Burial will be in the Ryan Cemetery under the direction of Dudley Funeral Home in Ryan. Visitation will be Tuesday from 4-8PM and Wednesday 10AM-noon at the funeral home in Ryan. (612 Washington).
