Kenneth M. "Choctaw" Heffington

Kenneth M. "Choctaw" Heffington, 59, of Waurika, Oklahoma, passed from this life Monday, February 22, 2016, at his home. He was born July 10, 1956, in Dumas, Texas, to Vernon Melton and Lillian Katherine (Killman) Heffington. He was married to Bonita Jean Barnes on July 20, 1974, in Amarillo, Texas. He was a security guard. He was a member of the Chickasaw Nation.

He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers and one sister.

Survivors include: his wife Bonita, of the home in Waurika, OK; one son Jason M. Heffington of Waurika, OK; one daughter Jennifer M. Heffington of Dickson, OK; one brother Larry Heffington; and three grandchildren - Dawson Porterfield, Brianna Porterfield, and Lillian Heffington.

A memorial service will be held for Mr. Heffington at 2:00 PM, Saturday, February 27, 2016, at the Dudley Funeral Home Chapel in Waurika with Pastor Sharon Jones officiating.
