Kenneth Dewayne Harris, sixty-nine, passed from this life Tuesday, August 19, 2008, at his residence in Duncan, Oklahoma. He was born May 23, 1939, in Oil City, Oklahoma, to Robert D. and Ruby Watson Harris. He was married to Patsy Puneo July 29, 1963, in Duncan. He married Ruby Upton April 19, 1989, in Wichita Falls, Texas. Kenneth worked at Elliott's trailer factory in Waurika, the City of Waurika Water Department, and as a janitor and bus driver for the Waurika schools. He served in the U.S. Army.

He was preceded in death by his parents and his first wife Patsy Puneo Harris.

Survivors include: his wife Ruby, of the home in Duncan, OK; four sons - Monroe, David, Samuel and Matthew Harris; four stepsons - Curt, Mark, Cody and John Hesbrook; one stepdaughter - Sandy Hesbrook; four sisters - Ida Mae Kerkow, Nita Sue Richardson, Dotty Switzer and Brenda Johnson; several grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

Graveside services for Mr. Harris will be at 1:00 PM, Thursday, August 21, 2008, at the Pooleville Cemetery in Pooleville, Oklahoma, with Rev. Curtis Plant officiating. Services will be under the direction of Dudley Funeral Home of Waurika. Visitation will be at the Dudley Funeral Home Chapel in Waurika, Oklahoma from 9:00 to 11:30 AM, Thursday.
