Kelly Ray Lewis was born November 9, 1966, in Waurika, Oklahoma, to Sidney and Bonnie Lewis. Kelly passed from this life Wednesday morning, August 21, 2002, at the age of thirty-five. Kelly was a carpenter and a plumber. Kelly and Karen Lawson were married April 28, 2002, in Princeton, Texas. Kelly love the outdoors and loved to fish with his children.

Survivors include: his wife, Karen, of the home; his mother, Monnie Lewis, of Waurika, OK; two sons - Chrisophter Wayne Lewis and Jeremy Lynn Lewis; two daughters - Ashlea Carlene Lewis and Danielle Nicole Lewis; one stepson, Aaron Womack; two brothers - Larry Lewis and his wife Debra of Florida, and Jerry Lewis and his wife Zona of Waurika, OK; two sisters - Sharon Trujillo of Denver, CO, and Nita Webster and her husband Frank of Byers, TX; several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Kelly was preceded in death by his father Sidney Lewis, his brother Terry Lewis and an infant daughter, Kandice.

Graveside services were held for Mr. Lewis on Monday, August 26, 2002, at 12:00 PM, at the Fairlawn Cemetery in Comanche, OK, with Chris Brown officiating. Burial was under the direction of Dudley Funeral Home of Waurika.
