Kelley Miles Allen, ninety-eight, of Ryan, Oklahoma, died May
3, 2008 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. He had been blessed with a
long rich life and looked forward to his heavenly journey. Kelley's
love for his Savior was apparent in everything he said or did

a delightful Grandpa, and a wonderful friend and good neighbor.

Drewery and Martha Elizabeth White Allen. He was the youngest
of thirteen children. Early in 1913, his family moved from Clay
County to what is now the Irving Community west of Ryan. Except
for a short period in 1918, when his family moved to East Texas
around Mt Vernon, he lived in the Irving Community the remainder
of his life. He became a Christian in 1925, was baptized in 1927,
and became a member of the Irving Baptist Church, where he served
as a Deacon since 1951. He joined the Masonic Lodge and attained
the rank of 32nd Degree Mason. He was also a member of the Eastern
Star and served as Worthy Patron several times. He married Faye
Painter at her family home in Nocona, Texas, January 14, 1934.
Faye died in 2000. They were married sixty-six years.
Kelley was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Faye, twelve siblings; one son-in-law, Wayne Hoover; one grandchildren, Emmitt Miles Allen; and one great-great-granchild, Tabitha Carlee Keith.
