June Edwards Brandon
June Edwards Brandon, 82, of Waurika, Oklahoma, passed from this life March 13, 2015, in at her home in Waurika. She was born August 3, 1932, in Addington, Oklahoma, to Howard and Lydia Leona Edwards.
She married Woodrow Sherman Brandon in Henrietta, Texas, on June 3, 1950. She was a homemaker who loved playing with her grandchildren. She was a member of the Addington Baptist Church.
Mrs. Brandon was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Woodrow, twin sister Jane Edwards, and sisters Jean Smith Lyle and Ann Hokit.
Survivors include: two sons - Dan Brandon and his wife Debbie of Waurika, OK, and Dewey Brandon and his wife Brooke of Norman, OK; one daughter Donna Brandon Knapik and her husband Bob of Waurika, OK; brother Billy Howard Edwards and his wife Imogene of Marlow, OK, sisters Betty and her husband Howard Bowles of Duncan, OK, Janice Gardner of South Africa, brother-in-law Bud Hokit of Comanche, OK; grandchildren Eric Brandon of Roanoke, TX, Amanda Brandon Britt and her husband Randall of Iowa Park, TX, Stacy Brandon, Leah, Jordan and Jetty Brandon; and great-grandchildren Hunter and Avery Britt.
Graveside services will be at 2:00 PM, Sunday, March 22, 2015, at the Waurika Cemetery with Dee Bowen officiating. Family members will be pallbearers. Arrangements are under the direction of Dudley Funeral Home of Waurika. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Addington Baptist Church.
