Ella Juanita Dyer
Ella Juanita "Cotton" (Coulston) Dyer, 92, of Comanche, Oklahoma, passed from this life February 27, 2015, at the Westbrook Nursing Home in Waurika, Oklahoma. She was born September 5, 1922, in Chickasha, Oklahoma, to Dan Atwood Coulston and Ethel Nooma (Wingfield) Coulston.
Mrs. Dyer was a homemaker. She loved crossword puzzles, soap operas and quilting. She was a Baptist.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband Herbert H. Dyer, three brothers and two sisters.
Survivors include: sons - Gene Dyer and his wife Frances of Waurika, OK, and Ricky Dyer and his wife Levida of Waurika, OK; daughters - Patricia and her husband Buddy Lewis of Hastings, OK, Shirley and her husband Royce Griffin of Norman, OK, Alice Clayburn of NC, Wilma and her husband Robert Parkhill of Duncan, OK, Sharon and her husband Julian Aldaco of Hastings, OK, Gail and her husband Willis Laird of Tulsa, OK, Glenda and her husband Daniel Salazar of San Antonio, TX, Wanda and her husband Royce Gober of Brownwood, TX, and Judy and her husband Bob Jones of Bakersfield, CA; thirty-two grandchildren; sixty-two great-grandchildren; and nine great-great-grandchildren.
Graveside services will be held at 1:00 PM, Tuesday, March 3, 2015, at the Oscar Cemetery in Oscar, Oklahoma, with Mike Bates officiating. Burial will be under the direction of Dudley Funeral Home of Waurika. Visitation will be Monday, March 2, from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM, and Tuesday, March 3, from 9:00 to 11:00 AM at the Dudley Funeral Home in Waurika. Pallbearers will be Bobby Dyer, Stephen Dyer, Chad Dyer, Kevin Parkhill, and Daniel Salazar. Honorary pallbearers will be Terry Webb, Eugene Dyer, Buck Laird and Cody Johns.
