Joyce Oreta Lacey

Joyce Oreta Lacey was born October 5. 1935 in Buckhorn, Oklahoma to Clifford W.H. Johnson and Lillie May Jewell (Baker) Johnson. She passed from this life Tuesday, April 13, 2021 at Grace Care Center in Nocona at the age of 85. She married Everett Adams and he preceded her in death. She married Gordon Lacey on June 3, 1977 in Ardmore, Oklahoma. He preceded her in death in 2002. She was a homemaker.

She is survived by two sisters - Elizabeth McKee of Buckhorn, Oklahoma and Patsy Hodges and husband Jack of Ryan, Oklahoma and brother Gary Johnson of Lynard, Texas. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, cousins, great nieces, great nephews, great great nieces, and great great nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, spouses, her daughter -Tammy Marie Adams, her son- Charles Clifford Adams, two sisters - Wilma Ingram and Lena McCollough, and 3 brothers -Lonnie Johnson, Theador "Sid" Johnson, and Austin Henry Johnson.

Funeral service for Mrs. Lacey will be Monday, April 19, 2021 at 2:00PM at the Assembly of God Church in Ryan with Alex Alejandro officiating. Burial will be in the Ryan Cemetery under the direction of Dudley Funeral Home. Visitation will be Sunday, April 18, 2021 from 1-5PM at Dudley Funeral Home in Ryan.
