Joyce Marie Holman was born May 16, 1917, in Ryan, Oklahoma to Willie Pearl and Dosia Vernon Howard and passed from this life Tuesday, January 31, 2006, at the Jefferson County Hospital at the age of eighty-eight. Joyce and Brad Hayes Holman were married June 14, 1936, in Terral, Oklahoma. He preceded her in death May 3, 2005. She was a homemaker and a member of the Waurika Church of Christ.

Survivors include: one son - Brad and his wife Fran Holman of Waurika, OK; two daughters - Pat and her husband Everett Hodges of Denison, TX, and JoAnn and Clarence Yearle of Oklahoma City, OK; nine grandchildren; nineteen great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, three brothers, and seven sisters.

Funeral services for Mrs. Holman were at 1:00 PM, Thursday, February 2, 2006, at the Waurika Church of Christ with Everett Hodges and Noel Curington officiating. Burial was in the Sugden Cemetery under the direction of Dudley Funeral Home of Waurika.
