Joyce Wall was born July 4, 1926, to Simon and Nora Wall in Comanche, Oklahoma, the youngest of nine children - four boys and five girls. She passed from this life Sunday, January 1, 2006, at the Meridian Nursing Home at the age of seventy-nine. Joyce married Billy Fulsom, with whom she had one son and one daughter. Billy preceded her in death in 1947. Joyce later married Junior Funkhouser who also preceded her in death, in 1997. She was a Baptist.

Survivors include: one son - Billy Mack Fulsom of Comanche, OK; two grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her first husband Billy Fulsom, her second husband Walter Junior Funkhouser, and her daughter Sharon Sue Folsom in 1963.

Funeral services for Mrs. Funkhouser were at 10:30 AM, Saturday, January 7, 2006, at the First Baptist Church in Comanche with Rev. Bill Choate officiating. Burial was in the Fairlawn Cemetery under the direction of Dudley Funeral Home of Comanche.
