John Robert Rockenbach passed from this life Saturday, July 20, 2002, in the Jefferson County Hospital at the age of sixty-nine. He was born November 23, 1933, to John and Bernidine Rockenbach in St. Paul, MN. Mr. Rockenbach was a staff sergeant in the U.S. Air Force and served his country twenty years and twenty-seven days. He and Sharon Jean Talley were united in marriage on November 19, 1966, in Vernon, Texas.

Survivors include: his wife, Sharon of the home in Waurika, OK; one son, John Eric Rockenbach and his wife Alex, of Houston, TX; one sister, Dolores Fox of South St. Paul, MN; four nieces and one nephew.

He is preceded in death by his parents, John and Bernidine Rochenbach.

Funeral services were held for Mr. Rockenbach at 10:00 AM, Wednesday, July 24, 2002, at the Inver Hills Assembly of God Church with Rev. Bart Thompson officiating. Burial was in Ft. Snelling Veterans Cemetery under the direction of Dudley Funeral Home of Waurika.
