Johnny D. Lilley was born December 20, 1945, in Duncan, Oklahoma, to John B. and Eva Lilley. Johhny passed from this life unexpectedly Wednesday, November 15, 2006, at te Oklahoma Heart Hospital in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, at the age of sixty. Johnny and Mary Lou Karlin were married February 10, 1967, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Johnny retired from the Oklahoma City Fire Department and has worked as an LPN for the Jefferson County Hospital since August of 1993. He was a member of the International Association of Firefighters.

Survivors include: his wife, Mary Lou, of the home in Hastings, OK; his mother, Eva Lilley of Hastings OK; his children - Todd Lilley of Duncan, OK, JB Lilley of Springfield, MO, and Paige Cummings of Hastings, OK; three sisters - Eva Joyce Massey of Hastings, OK, Melba Joyce Palmer of Cashion, OK, and Dottie Mae Hall of Omaha, NB; and three grandchildren - Haley, HopeLynn, and Zachary.

Funeral services for Mr. Lilley were at 3:00 PM, Saturday, November 18, 2006, at the First Baptist Church in Hastings, Oklahoma with Noel Curington officiating. Burial was in the Hastings Cemetery under the direction of Dudley Funeral Home of Waurika. Memorial contributions may be made to the Hastings Cemetery Fund, Hastings Volunteer Fire Department, Chisholm Trail Hospice of Duncan, Baptist Burn Center, or the Shriners Children's Burn Center.
