Johnnie Le Roy Hollaway was born February 20, 1954, in Wilson, Oklahoma, to James and Mabel Thompson Hollaway, and passed from this life August 15, 2003, at Meridian Nursing Home in Comanche, Oklahoma, at the age of forty-nine.

Survivors include: his mother - Mabel Hollaway of Meridian Nursing Home; his father - James Hollaway of Meridian Nursing Home; one brother - Rory Hollaway of Fresno, CA; five sisters - Teresa Trail of Winthrop, AR, Minia Hollaway of Waurika, OK, D.J. James of Talequah, OK, Donna Faulkner of Wichita Falls, TX, and Katie Morgan of Elkins, AR; a special nephew, Kevin Hollaway of Waurika, OK; and many other nieces and nephews.

Funeral services for Ms. Hollaway were at 1:00 PM, Monday, August 18, 2003, at the Dudley Funeral Home Chapel in Waurika with Noel Curington officiating. Burial was in the Waurika Cemetery under the direction of Dudley Funeral Home of Waurika.
