Joe Turner

Joe Turner was born April 22, 1932 in Ringgold, Texas to Thelma Florence Carter and Finis Frank Turner. He passed from this life Friday, June 25, 2021 in Whitesboro, Texas at the age of 89. He was a farmer and rancher. He and Iona Fern Butler were married November 23, 1955 at the Ryan Church of Christ. She preceded him in death March 21, 2021.

He is survived by his son - David Turner and wife Carla, daughter - Becky Martini, sister - Vernell Polk, grandchildren - Tausha Nickelberry and Ty, Devon Jones and Jada Jones, great grandchildren - Javon Modester, Sydney Nickelberry, Olivia Nickelberry, and Lincoln Elliott.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Fern, and daughter - Vicki Jones

Memorial service will be Friday, July 2, 2021 at 1:30PM at the Ryan Church of Christ with David Wingfield officiating. Services are under the direction of Dudley Funeral Home in Ryan.
