Joel Garcia
Joel Garcia, 45, of Nocona, Texas, passed from this life January 26, 2019. He was born September 8, 1973, in Longmont, Colorado, to Martin and Elida (Cavazos) Garcia. He was an oilfield worker, a handyman, detailed cars and was a dishwasher at Bill's Catfish House in Waurika. He was married to Eva Ralls June 29, 2010, at Coyote Hills in Waurika, Oklahoma.
Joel was very colorful and enjoyed making people laugh. He was loved by everyone.
He was preceded in death by his parents, son Michael Joel Garcia, and his brother Hugo Garcia.
Survivors include: his wife Eva Garcia of the home; children - Chanda Carlson and Payton Tice; sisters - Jackie, Janie and Delta; brothers Martin, Hector, Arto, Eloy, Michael, Gilbert and Jesse; grandchildren – Isabel Jayden Carlson; and many nieces and nephews.
A Celebration of Life service will be held from 2-6 PM, Wednesday, January 30, 2019, at the Waurika Depot in Waurika, Oklahoma. Condolences may be sent to the family at www.dudleyfuneralhomes.com.
