JoeAnna Lucille (Kauffeldt) Porterfield
JoeAnna Lucille (Kauffeldt) Porterfield, 81, of Waurika, Oklahoma, passed from this life July 27, 2018. She was born January 3, 1937, in Norman, Oklahoma, to Carl Otto and Lucille (Cisson) Kauffeldt. She married James Rube Porterfield March 29, 1966, in Wichita Falls, Texas. He preceded her in death January 3, 2010. She was a retired telephone operator, a member of the Irving Baptist Church and enjoyed sewing and watching cooking shows and westerns on television.
She was preceded in death by her husband James and her parents.
Survivors include: her children - James Allen Porterfield and his wife Lorie, Ricky Porterfield and his wife Barbara, and Paulla and her husband Gary Hull; her brother Carl Kauffeldt; ten grandchildren; seventeen great-grandchildren with one due in January of 2019; her niece Shelley and her husband Ryan Jorgenson and their daughter Bailey Jorgenson; and her nephew Scott Bailey.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM, Tuesday, July 31, 2018, at the Irving Baptist Church with Mike Bates officiating. Burial will be in the Waurika Cemetery under the direction of Dudley Funeral Home in Waurika. Visitation will be from 11:00 AM to 7:00 PM Monday at the Dudley Funeral Home Chapel with the family receiving visitors from 5:00 to 7:00 PM.
