Wanda Joanne (Helloms) Johnson

Wanda Joanne (Helloms) Johnson, 71, of Ryan, Oklahoma, passed from this life November 27, 2019. She was born August 21, 1948, in Ryan, Oklahoma, to Jim and Lovina (Tolley) Helloms. She married William Lonnie Johnson December 3, 1966.

Joanne went to work at the age of sixteen at the Ryan Nursing Home as a CNA. She later became a CMA also. She worked there for thirty-five years until her health made her stop working and she became a stay-at-home Nana. She was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary in Ryan and attended the First Baptist Church there. She was a member of the Kindred Community Widows.

Joanne was preceded in death by her husband, her parents, sisters Freda Doyal, Elberta "Peachie" Maness, and Dora Green, and brothers W.D. Davis, Leroy Helloms, Pete Helloms, and Clifton Ray Helloms.

Survivors include: her children - Patrick Johnson and his wife Tammy of Ryan, OK, Gayla Johnson of Ryan, OK, Heather Johnson of Ryan, OK, and Kimberly Johnson and her fiance Ryan Adcock of Ryan, OK; grandchildren - Rob Johnson of Comanche, OK, Cassi Johnson of Ryan, OK, Austin Johnson of Ryan, OK, and Lily and Landry Adcock of Ryan, OK; great-grandchildren - Kinzley and Dallie Johnson of Comanche, OK, and Chris and Peyton James of Ryan, OK; her sisters - Lucille Lawson of Waurika, OK, Ruth Thomas of Ryan, OK and Sally Robbins of Henrietta, TX; and many nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be at 2:00 PM, Tuesday, December 3, 2019, at the First Bapist Church in Ryan, with Ricky Phillips and Steve Spangler officiating. Burial will be in the Ryan Cemetery under the direction of Dudley Funeral Home of Ryan. Visitation will be Monday from 10:00 AM to 8:00 PM and Tuesday from 10:00 AM to Noon at the Dudley Funeral Home Chapel in Ryan.
