Joan Alice Dalton Lawley

Joan Alice Dalton Lawley was born March 26, 1941 in Bangor Maine to Charles and Ruth Alice Powers Dalton. She passed from this life Sunday, April 27, 2014 at her home in Waurika at the age of 73.

Joan and Charlie Lawley were married June 23, 1960 in Lawton, Oklahoma. She was a homemaker and a member of the Addington Baptist Church.

She is survived by her children - Ben Lawley of Farmington, New Mexico, Mary Bernard of Waurika, Milissie Taylor of Sulphur, Louisiana, and Chris Dunkin of Waurika, 14 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband - Charlie and son - John Paul.

Funeral service for Joan will be Wednesday, April 30, 2014 at 2PM at Addington Baptist Church with Rev. Jason Ebenhack officiating. Burial will be in the Waurika Cemetery under the direction of Dudley Funeral Home in Waurika. Visitation will be from 9AM-8PM Tuesday and 9AM-noon on Wednesday. Memorials may be made to the Cancer Center in Duncan.
