Jimmy Lee Turpin was born August 12, 1051, to Jake and Gladys Turpin, in Gainesville, Texas. He passed from this life on September 12, 2001, at the age of 50.

Joe is survived by two sisters: Vada Bradshaw of Abilene, TX and Pat Miller of Oklahoma City, OK.

Funeral services were held at 2:00 PM on September 14, 2001 at the Dudley Funeral Home Chapel in Comanche with Chuck Farina officiating. Burial was in Addington Cemetery under the direction of Dudley Funeral Home of Comanche.
