Jimmy Darwin Pearce
Jimmy Darwin Pearce, 74, of Artesia, New Mexico, passed from this life February 25, 2015, at the Covenant Medical Center in Lubbock, Texas. He was born in Rotan, Texas, December 10, 1940, to Andrew and Anna Mae (Ogden) Pearce.
Mr. Pearce was married to Carol Lynn Jones in 1961. He married Alta Faye Martin in 1988. She preceded him in death in 2006. He owned and operated Flow Products in Artesia, NM. He served in the United States Army and was a member of the Elks' Lodge in Artesia.
He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers Bill Pearce and Lorin Pearce, and sisters Juanita Walton and Jeanie Blythe.
Survivors include: sons Jai Pearce and his wife Amy of Azle, TX, Tal Pearce of Springville, UT, Coi Lane Pearce of Artesia, NM, Jon Wesli Pearce of Artesia, NM, and Kip Tori Pearce of Ogden, UT; step-children Jan and her husband Keith Alexander and Pam and her husband Donny Evans; one brother - Leon Pearce and his wife Hope of New Mexico; and one sister - Melva and her husband Ardel Pearce of Cleburne, TX; six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be at 11:00 AM, Saturday, February 28, 2015, at the Dudley Funeral Home Chapel in Waurika, Oklahoma, with Keith Alexander officiating. Burial will follow in the Ryan Cemetery in Ryan, Oklahoma, under the direction of Dudley Funeral Homes.
