Jessie Lee Wood was born April 23, 1925 in Waurika, Oklahoma to John Calvin and Annie Lizabeth Putnam Stewart. She passed from this life Saturday, September 26, 2009 at the Westbrook Nursing Home at the age of eighty-four. She married PFC Charles F. Schabram in Akron, Ohio on August 10, 1944. He preceded her in death on March 26, 1978. She married Ralph Wood April 8, 1982 in Waurika. She was a nurse and worked for Jefferson County Hospital for many years. She also worked with her husband Ralph at the flooring business in Waurika.
She is survived by her husband Ralph of the home in Waurika, son and daughter in law Dennis and Beverly Schabram of Waurika, son -in law Buddy Goodin of Waurika, granddaughter - Trisha Schabram of Wichita Falls, grandson - John Schabram of Lewisville, Texas, stepgrandson Johnny Wood of Waurika, several step great grandchildren and nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband - Charles F. , son - Charles L. Schabram, stepdaughter - Jerrie Goodin, brother - Clifton Stewart, sisters - Jackie Miller, Artie Bell Stewart, Edna Ruth Snow and Mickey Cole.
Funeral service will be Tuesday, September 29, 2009 at 10:30AM at the Dudley Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. John Newland officiating. Burial will be in the Waurika Cemetery under the direction of Dudley Funeral Home in Waurika. Visitation will be Sunday from 2-6PM and Monday from 9AM- 7PM. Memorials may be made to the Waurika Fire Department.
