Jesse J. Williams
Jesse J. Williams, 87, of Ryan, Oklahoma, passed from this life July 3, 2018. He was born April 1, 1931, in Ryan, Oklahoma, to Oscar and Eufaula (Maness) Williams. He married Ollie Faye Thompson in Orr, Oklahoma on June 5, 1960. They owned and operated Williams Grocery and Gas in Ryan. He served his country in Germany as a part of the U. S. Army. He was a member of the Ryan Assembly of God Church.
He was preceded in death by his wife Ollie in 1990, his parents, two infant sisters - Bertha Mae and Bessie Jane, two brothers - Robert Williams and Otis "Pete" Williams, and two sisters - Virginia Davis and Dorothy Whitaker.
Survivors include: his children - Shelley Winn of Bowie, TX, Jay Williams and his wife Michelle of Cashion, OK, James Williams and his wife Kelli of Edmond, OK, and Sheryl and her husband Rusty Allen of Terral, OK; his sister Rosa Duncan; nine grandchildren - Nathan Winn, Daniel Winn, Jacob Williams, Hevenlee Williams, Logan Williams, Olivia Williams, Kaleb Allen, Colt Allen, and Jesse James Allen; and one great grandchild - Journey, and Elijah on the way; and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.
Funeral services will be at 10:00 AM, Saturday, July 7, 2018, at the Ryan Assembly of God Church in Ryan, Oklahoma, with Bro. David McGhghy, Dennis Cady officiating. Burial will be in the Ryan Cemetery under the direction of Dudley Funeral Home of Ryan. Visitation will be from noon to 8:00 PM Friday at the Dudley Funeral Home Chapel in Ryan with the family receiving friends from 4:00 to 6:00 PM.
